Having heard of Ultherapy, you’re now ready for your consultation. But maybe you’re wondering what the process will be like. We’ll help you with a breakdown of what you can expect before, during and after your Ultherapy session.
Before Your Session
In preparing for your non-invasive facelift, you first need to book a consultation. It’s during this consultation that the areas that you wish to focus on will be discussed. This is also when it will be determined if you’re a good candidate for Ultherapy or not.
Once you’ve scheduled your treatment, then you’re all set in terms of your preparation before your treatment session.
On the Day
Before your treatment, you need to make sure that your skin is clean of any type of products. That means you will need to remove any makeup or moisturizers that you’ve put on.
The technician will then apply ultrasound gel on the areas that will be focused on during the treatment. They will then use the ultrasound imaging and use that to determine the amount of ultrasound that needs to be delivered to specific areas.
The ultrasound will then be administered according to the imaging that was done.
After Your Non-Invasive Facelift treatment
The beauty of Ultherapy, of course, is the fact that it’s not a surgical procedure. That means that you won’t need any recovery time after your procedure. Whereas with a surgical facelift you will need to rest for one week after surgery and then you need to take into account recovery time from the sutures or staples from the surgery itself.
Please note that your experience may differ. Should you have any detailed questions with regards to Ultherapy, you should direct them to the treatment professional during your consultation. That way, you’ll be able to know what to expect from your own session. You can also look at our page regarding the Non-Invasive Facelift with Ultherapy.
